McIntyre House offers a unique rehabilitative experience for men seeking recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction. Set in a safe, stable and supportive home-like environment, we are committed to providing each client with the very best opportunity for personal growth and recovery. We are further committed to accessibility and affordability as no man is turned away due to lack of funds and every resident is provided the highest quality program.

Our program of activities include one-on-one sessions, house meetings and focus-groups, designed to ensure that each client acquires the tools necessary for maintaining long-term sobriety. Active 12-Step involvement and support group networking are also an integral part of the McIntyre House experience. By gradually advancing through the program, internalizing the recovery process and establishing and strong support group, our clients are well positioned to lead productive and drug-free lives.

McIntyre House is a clean and spacious 5,000 square foot townhouse. Our clients enjoy comfortable two-man rooms. Other amenities include a community entertainment room, full laundry facilities, and outdoor weight room and a recovery garden. Our facilities also have on-site computer and internet access. Program enrollment includes three meals daily (including a family style supper).

We are centrally located on a quiet street just east of Hollywood and west of Silverlake. Close to Los Angeles City College, QueensCare Medical Clinic, the Hollywood Mental Health Clinic and a full spectrum of social service organizations we are also within easy walking distance of major subway lines and hundreds of Twelve Step meetings.
